Tolpoort is close to the activity of the WFO Business Park in Zwaagdijk-Oost and benefits from a fast connection to the A7 motorway. This achieves a high degree of efficiency for our customers. The agricultural products find their way from the 9,400 m2 distribution and packaging center to mainly domestic supermarkets, exporters and wholesalers. The DC has ten dockboards and twenty cold stores. The cold stores are built with the latest energy-saving and sustainable techniques and even runs almost entirely on 2,000 solar panels, which are mounted on the roof. As a result, a large part of our fresh products such as chicory, cauliflower and broccoli can be cooled with solar energy and are cooled back to any desired temperature in record time and responsibly. A perfect condition and the good properties of the vegetables are thus better preserved.
