The growing company has existed since around 1950, and Bas Kok has been active in it since the early 2000s. He represents the third generation in the family business, which started with his grandfather and his grandfather’s brother, then continued with his father and other family members, and is now run by him together with his brother Joost. His father still helps regularly, and his children also contribute from time to time.

The decision to join Tolpoort Vegetables came from the desire to organize sales through their own organization after leaving The Greenery.

In addition to running the farm, he has a busy family life with three children. He enjoys watching handball and football, attending music concerts and football matches, and going for walks.

Finally, he emphasizes that the company is a young organization with, hopefully, a long future ahead.
