Tolpoort Vegetables is reinforcing its market position in open-field vegetables with the joining of Fa. Gebr. Hoff & Zn<\/strong> from Andijk. Through this collaboration, the combined cultivation area will increase by 75 hectares of cauliflower and 80 hectares of broccoli in the coming season\u2014a total expansion of 155 hectares. This marks the next step in Tolpoort Vegetables\u2019 growth strategy and further enhances the cooperative\u2019s supply reliability for retail, export, and the processing industry.<\/p>\n

Fa. Gebr. Hoff & Zn<\/strong> is a well-established family business with extensive experience in growing open-field vegetables. In addition, the company is active in tulip and peony cultivation. With their expertise, scale, and forward-looking vision, they form a valuable addition to the Tolpoort Vegetables growers\u2019 collective. The geographical spread and increased scale within the cooperative further optimize continuity of supply.<\/p>\n

At Tolpoort Vegetables<\/strong>, quality is central to everything we do. Our customers rely on receiving fresh, safe, and healthy vegetables every day, including our cauliflower, broccoli, and chicory. We earn that trust through clear quality agreements, thorough inspections, and a careful checking process\u2014from arrival to delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quality begins at the source<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Quality doesn\u2019t start in the warehouse; it begins in the field. That\u2019s why we work closely with our affiliated growers, who share our values and standards. Together, we establish clear agreements about the desired level of quality. Because we work with natural products, perfectly uniform quality is not always possible\u2014but it is always our goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our inspectors play a central role in this process. They carefully check all products upon arrival and before shipment, following general quality standards as well as specific product requirements from our customers. Based on these inspections, the right products are allocated to the right customers. Inspectors also maintain close contact with growers, both in the warehouse and in the field. As soon as products are delivered from the fields to Tolpoort, they are carefully inspected, and the results are recorded in a quality report. Our experienced inspectors assess each batch against fixed criteria, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
